As we do every year, we attended Remembrance Day services today and we thought we would share a little bit of our experience.
For those who leave never to return, for those who return but are never the same, we remember.
The Streetsville Remembrance Day Ceremony 2019 started on this snowy November 11th with the incoming parade.
We arrived in time to pick great a great spot to stand - between the Streetsville Scottish Pipes and Drums, the Cadet Band and behind the Honour Guard.
After standing relatively still for so long out in the cold, it was a good idea for a bit of a stretch before the parade commenced after the ceremony.
The band played as they left. Another ceremony finished for another year. This doesn't mean we have to stop remembering though.
Always great to see the first responders able to be available to make their presence felt at the ceremony.
